I keep my spice jar of cinnamon out on the counter because I use it so much--especially at breakfast!I started doing this after a doctor I interviewed for a magazine health feature years ago said that everyone should put more spices, namely cinnamon, in their foods, but so few people actually think to do it!
Past research has found a correlation between cinnamon and blood sugar stabilization (code for: it might help you avoid sugar highs and lows, and feel more satiated--cool, right?!).
OK, so cinnamon doesn't exactly go witheverybreakfast food (yeah, cinnamony eggs?No thank you!), but you can sprinkle it on top of so many breakfast foods, like these:
*Bananas (or all fruit for that matter!)
*Muffins (why not?!)
