Denim and rock 'n roll go together pretty much as well as peanut butter and jelly,so I wasn't surprised to hear that Diesel recently became the first-ever 威廉希尔备用网址fashion label with its own radio station. If you've got a case of the almost-Fridays and you're looking for a little distraction at your desk, keep reading...
Diesel:U:Musicis a huge, very cool program spanning many areas of rock 'n roll: An international tour,a social music network where up-and-comers can share their favorite tracks, opportunities for artists to make their own music videos, and a radio station that's broadcasting live from Diesel's 5th Avenue store in NYC as we speak. There will be live performances from some very cool bands going on all week (Zoe Kravitz, yesthatKravitz, hits the airwaves tomorrow) but you don't have to leave your cubicle to have a listen.Go todieselmusic.comnow and you can hear what's going on at the store--I've been listening for the past hour while I'm writing, and I gotta say, there's something kinda homespun and really nice about it (not to mention I've heard the kind of tracks that would never have made their way onto my iPod,which I can always appreciate. Why is reggae not a regular part of my Thursday mornings?I'm in such a good mood!).
You dolls also have a chance to see the winners of Diesel:U:Music's contest,a band called HEARTSREVOLUTION and The Terror Pigeon Dance Revolt!,as they embark on their first world tour, courtesy of Diesel. The band comes to NYC on July 30th,and they're giving away free tickets to a lucky bunch who show up at the store wearing their Diesel jeans. Here's where to score 'em:
July 25th and 26that Lexington at 60th Street at 5pm
July 27th and 28th5th Avenue and 54th Street at 5pm
July 29th and 30thUnion Square at 14th Street at 5pm
They're all available "until supplies last," which means I suggest you get there early in your best Diesels if you want tickets. And if you're not in New York, pop on your headphones, tune in toDiesel:U:Music Radio, and rock out from the comfort of your own desk chair.
Have a listen and let us know what you think!
