An Unexpected Way to Do the Dressy Jeans Thing

I love anything that looks distressed,worn-in or imperfect. It makes things look like they have character.I ripped holes in my jeans so I can have that effect. Not only do they look cool, but when worn with a dressy blouse, the outfit looks much more effortless.

I've always tried doing DIY projects on my clothes, shoesor other things, and I recommend being a little creative with your clothes as it adds your own signature to a garment. For these jeans, the process is as easy as 1-2-3.

All you do is grab a pair of scissors, poke a hole through the area where you want it and cut through as big as you like it.I recommend cutting a medium/large hole as it looks a lot better when the threads come out.Next, stretch out the hole a few times so you can enlarge it.Try to take out any threads by hand by pulling them;don't stress about this part because the threads will come out once you throw your jeans in the washer and dryer. There you have it!

It's really easy and it takes just a few minutes.First, try it out first on a pair of jeans you hardly wear—you don't want to ruin your favorite ones!Good luck!
